【摘要】:Thebispectralortwo-monochromatormethodisthedefinitivemethodforthedeterminationofthegeneralradiation-transferpropertiesoffluorescentspecimens(4).Inthismethod,themeasuringinstrumentisequippedwithtwoseparatemonochromators.Thefirst,theirradiationmonochromator,irradiatesthespecimenwithmonochromaticlight.Thesecond,theviewingmonochromator,analyzestheradiationleavingthespecimen.Atwo-dimensionalarrayofbispectralphotometricvaluesisobtainedbysettingtheirradiationmonochromatorataseriesoffixedwavelengths(x03BC;)intheultravioletandvisiblerange,andforeachx03BC;,usingtheviewingmonochromatortorecordreadingsforeachwavelength(x03BB;)inthevisiblerange.Theresultingarray,onceproperlycorrected,isknownastheDonaldsonmatrix,andthevalueofeachelement(x03BC;,x03BB;)ofthisarrayisheredescribedastheDonaldsonradiancefactor(D(x03BC;,x03BB;)).TheDonaldsonradiancefactorisaninstrument-andilluminant-independentphotometricpropertyofthespecimen,andcanbeusedtocalculateitscolorforanydesiredilluminantandobserver.Theadvantageofthismethodisthatitprovidesacomprehensivecharacterizationofthespecimenrsquo;radiation-transferproperties,withouttheinaccuraciesassociatedwithsourcesimulationandvariousmethodsofapproximation.1.1Thispracticeprovidesthevaluesandpracticalcomputationproceduresneededtoobtaintristimulusvalues,designatedX,Y,ZandX10,Y10,Z10fortheCIE1931and1964observers,respectively,frombispectralphotometricdataforthespecimen.ProceduresforobtainingsuchbispectralphotometricdataarecontainedinPracticeE2153.1.2ProceduresforconversionofresultstocolorspacesthatarepartoftheCIEsystem,suchasCIELABandCIELUVarecontainedinPracticeE308.1.3Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
