【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesrequirementsfortheconstruction,testingandmarkingofGroupIIelectricalapparatuswithtypeofprotection"n",intendedforuseonlyinareaswhereexplosiveatmospheresofgas,vapourandmistareunlikelytooccuroriftheydooccur,arelikelytodosoinfrequentlyorforashortperiodonly.Thisstandardisapplicabletonon-sparkingelectricalapparatusandalsotoapparatuswithpartsorcircuitsproducingarcsorsparksorhavinghotsurfaceswhich,ifnotprotectedinoneofthewaysspecifiedinthisstandard,couldbecapableofignitingasurroundingexplosiveatmosphere.Anon-incendivepartislimitedinusetotheparticularcircuitforwhichithasbeenshowntobenon-ignitioncapableand,therefore,cannotbeseparatelyassessedascomplyingwiththisstandard.ThisstandardisapplicabletoelectricalequipmentandcomponentsofGroupII,Category3G.Suchequipmentisdesignedtobecapableoffunctioninginconformitywiththeoperatingparametersestablishedbythemanufacturerandensuringanormallevelofprotection.Equipmentinthiscategoryensurestherequisitelevelofprotectionduringnormaloperation.NOTE1Inthisstandardtheword"apparatus"hasthesamemeaningastheword"equipment"usedintheDirective.CompliancewiththisEuropeanStandarddoesnotimplyanyremovalof,orloweringof,therequirementsofanyotherEuropeanStandardwithwhichtheelectricalapparatuscomplies.Thisstandardsupplements,andmaysupersede,therequirementsforapparatusfornormalindustrialapplications.NOTE2Theapplicationofthisstandardmayrequiretheexerciseofengineeringjudgementbecauseofthewiderangeofapparatusandtechnologiescovered.Ifapparatusistobecertifiedtherelevantrequirementsmayneedtobeagreedbetweenthemanufacturerandthetestingstation.
