【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstherequirementsforelectrodepositedtin-nickelalloycoatingsfromaqueoussolutionsintendedforthecorrosionprotectionoffabricatedarticlesofiron,steel,zinc-basealloys,copper,andcopperalloys.Thecompositionofthealloyremainsconstantat65/35tin-nickelinspiteofwidefluctuationsinbothcompositionandoperatingconditions.Thecompositioncorrespondsquitecloselytoanequiatomicratio,andtheprocessfavorstheco-depositionoftinandnickelatomsatidenticalrates.1.2Thisspecificationdoesnotapplytosheet,strip,orwireinthefabricatedform.Italsomaynotbeapplicabletothreadedarticleshavingbasicmajordiametersuptoandincluding19mmbecauseofthenonuniformityofthicknessthatcanbeexpectedonfinethreads.However,adecisiontousethecoatingonsuchcomponentsmaybemadebythepurchaser.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
