【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardprovidesamodelfortherepresentationofdedicatedkindsofpropertyinlaboratorymedicine.Theneedforthisworkstemsfromtheincreasinguseofcomputerizedclinicallaboratoryinformationsystems,andtheincreasingneedforreliablecommunicationbetweenlaboratoryinformationsystemsandbetweenlaboratoryandotherhealthcareinformationsystems(HCIS).PotentialusersofthisEuropeanStandardare:-internationalandnationalorganizationsresponsiblefordevelopment,maintenanceorregistrationofnomenclatures,classificationsandcodingsystems;-designersanddevelopersofHCIS,e.g.laboratoryinformationsystems(LIS);-personsresponsibleforacquisitionofHCISandcheckingcompliancewithstandards;-designersanddevelopersofcomputerizeddiagnosticdevicesanddataacquisitionsystems;-developersofcommunicationstandards.Thedegreetowhichamessage(suchasaclinicallaboratoryreport)needstobeexpressedinaformal,systematiclanguagedependsonthegeographical,linguistic,socialorprofessionaldistancebetweenthecommunicatingparties.Thegreaterthedistance,thegreatertheriskofmisunderstanding.Withinanyoneclinicallaboratory,localjargontermsmaybeusedwhichareusuallywellunderstoodbetweencolleagues(LocalDialectAinFigure1),butwhichwouldnotbesufficientlywidelyknownforcommunicationwiththeoutsideworld.Likewise,alaboratoryanditslocalcommunityofusers,suchashospitalorcommunityphysicians,mayusea"localdialect"ofthelanguageofclinicallaboratorieswhichiswellunderstoodbyallconcerned;butifcommunicationpossibilitiesarewider,eventransnational,risksofseriousmisunderstandingarise.
